It all began with ideas, courage and a pioneering spirit: In 1912 Emil Hoffmann established the Cyklop company in Cologne. Numerous product innovations and patented inventions formed the basis of rapid growth and systematic expansive strategy of the young company.

Nowadays Cyklop has branches, production plants and agencies in over 50 countries on all five continents and employs over 1,200 members of staff throughout the world. Cyklop International headquarter is based in Cologne. This is where the logistics centre is located as well as the German production for machines and strap. Cyklop maintains other plants and production sites in Spain, Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands and Brazil. International know-how, integral solutions, innovative products and high manufacturing quality make Cyklop International a leading provider of systems for securing loads throughout the world.

Since back in 1920 the Italian representative of CYKLOP was operating on the Italian market under the name ‘La Cyklop’. In 1931 the present company was established under the name of ‘La Cyklope s.r.l.’; later on the name was changed into ‘Tendinastro’ and finally in the current one of CYKLOP s.r.l.

Today CYKLOP S.r.l. (Italy) operates through two locations: the new and functional one of Locate di Triulzi (south of Milan) where the headquarters, a werehouse and assistance service are located; the second one, Division ZUCCHELLI UMET of Pianoro (south of Bologna) where the production, sales and technical services for gummed paper and self-adhesive tape dispensers and case sealers are located.
